We help people who need practical support at home

That might be a veteran, senior, aged care client, private customer, or a family member organising help for someone else eligible for DVA funded support.
Some people need regular support. Others just need one job sorted.
We can help arrange services like cleaning, gardening, lawn mowing, laundry, ironing, shopping assistance, meal preparation, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, minor home tasks, solar panel cleaning and firewood management.
The aim is simple: help you get the right support in place, without having to chase different providers or work it all out alone.
Why Services After Serving

We’re veterans helping veterans.
We organise trusted local providers to deliver services after serving DVA household services assistance and other household help for veterans across Australia. Simple jobs like cleaning, mowing, gutter and window cleaning, meal prep and more are handled through the Services After Serving portal.
We look after the admin and billing with DVA, so you don’t pay upfront for approved services.
That means providers get paid reliably and veterans get the care they need without the usual delays.
Our team checks bookings, confirms jobs and keeps everyone informed, with status updates and completion photos so there’s no guessing – just clear support from request to finish.

You send us a request and tell us what you need help with.
A simpler way to get things organised
We review the details, check the service, location, timing and any important notes, then arrange a suitable provider.
Once the job is booked, we keep you updated. After the work is done, the provider records the completion so there is a clear trail from request to finish.
Services can be arranged privately or through approved funding, depending on your situation. If you are using a funding scheme, you or your authorised representative will need to confirm the service is covered and that funds are available.
People use Services After Serving because they do not need another form, another phone call, or another person telling them to chase someone else.
